Exciting news for friends of LGBTQ+ history – Christopher Street Tours has launched a new LGBTQ+ walking tour in the Boston area. We are thrilled to announce this historic extension to Cambridge, Massachusetts with our Cambridge LGBTQ+ Visionaries Walking Tour!
Cambridge has long been a hub of history and activism, making it the perfect location for the next stop on our walking tour journey. Join us as we explore the vibrant Cambridge neighborhood, strolling the streets of New England and learning about the LGBTQ+ history of the area. Led by expert local guides, the Cambridge LGBTQ+ Visionaries Walking Tour will take you on a captivating journey through the streets of Cambridge, uncovering hidden gems, iconic landmarks, and the untold stories of LGBTQ+ visionaries who have shaped the city’s identity.
Since 2018, Christopher Street Tours has been committed to increasing access to LGBTQ+ history by sharing stories and uplifting voices of those who paved the way before us. We’ve welcomed thousands of visitors and locals alike to New York City, where we visit landmarks such as the Stonewall Inn, the Gay Liberation Monument, the LGBT Center, and more, as we delve into the stories of LGBTQ+ activists and the legacy they’ve created.
Now, we are excited to bring that same passion for LGBTQ+ history to the Boston area, a city with its own rich and diverse LGBTQ+ history. Our new tour will offer participants the opportunity to explore historic LGBTQ+ sites, learn about key figures and events in Cambridge’s Queer history, and connect with local LGBTQ+ communities.
Starting June 1st, we’ll be offering public tours on select dates and private group tours just in time for Pride! So, book your spot today and get ready for an unforgettable journey through LGBTQ+ history with Christopher Street Tours!
You can learn more about the tour and reserve your spot on the Cambridge LGBTQ+ Visionaries Walking Tour page, or email us to inquire about setting up a private group tour.
We can’t wait to explore Cambridge with you!
